Blak Blad forward Simon Lutta has been handed a 12-week ban by the Kenya Ruby Union Judicial Panel.
The player has been found guilty of a dangerous tackle in their Eric Shirley Shield match against Mwamba hence the ban. The match ended 32-11 in favour of Mwamba RFC.
Kenya Rugby Union are expected to release more details on the Judicial proceedings within a period of 24 hours.
“SANCTION: Simon Lutta (Blak Blad) handed 12-week ban for a dangerous tackle during his team’s Eric Shirley Shield match against Mwamba on 25 January 2020,” reads a statement by KRU.

Lutta is expected to be out of action until the end of April. He becomes the second ESS player to receive a ban after Homeboyz forward Jesse Mugonyi who got a 10-week ban for punch an opponent.
