Unbeaten Shamas end regular season on top in Nairobi Club’s Nationwide


Shamas Foundation have ended the league regular games unbeaten winning 9 out of 9 games having missed only one bonus point victory in their hunt. 

In Club category, the top four teams have already secured quarterfinal spots slated for 15th February. Ngong RFC, will not have a chance to get promoted back to Championship as they are placed fifth having played all their league games.

Swara will finish the league at position two with 39 points. Hurricanes occupy position 3 with 27 points. Dagoretti Bulldogs are placed fourth with 26 points having one game in hand they still have a chance of finishing at number three.

In the University category, the race is not yet over as the pole position is still up for grabs with one round of games to be played. MKU Nairobi are still on top with 34 points, followed by Administration Police who have 33 points. Daystar Falcons are placed third with 29 points having two games in hand. Cooperative University are at position four with 24 points.

Strathmore II occupy position five with 16 points having 3 games in hand. Their dreams of securing a playoff berth are still very much alive.
