Kenya Cup defending Champions KCB fine form in the top tier continued as they handed Kisumu with a 55-7 beating at Kisumu Polytechnic.
The bankers landed nine tries in the win to stay second on the Kenya Cup log. After three minutes of play, Samuel Asati crossed over for the opening try before Essau Otieno grabbed their second. Seven minutes later Kisumu responded with a converted try for a 10-7 scoreline.
KCB went to the break leading 24-7 after they added one more try at the 37th and 40th minute. Brian Omondi was the scorer of the fourth try.
From the break, Rocky Aguko joined the scoring party grabbing a converted try. The side would race over for four more tries and converted two to win the clash. The win put them on 49 points after 11 matches.
At Jamhuri Grounds, Homeboyz stood tall to beat Nondies 37-11 in the Jamhuri Derby.
