Kabras RFC new signing Lawrence Buyachi was voted as the best player by the Club fans and was awarded with cash prize at the Club’s end year Luncheon held on Sunday.
The former Nakuru RFC man has started in each of their nine matches in the 2019/20 season. He made his debut in their 89-0 win over Kisumu where he scored one try. He also scored in their 43-9 win against Mwamba at Railways in his second match.
He has gone to make nine appearances where Kabras have picked eight wins and a loss to end the year on top of the log.
Lock Kevin Wekesa was voted as the Eric Shirley Shield player of the year. He has played a major role in the ESS campaign where the side has won seven matches. Wekesa is slowly breaking into the first team having been picked in the Kenya Cup 23-man squad in the last three outings.
Fijian Import Timoci Senaite was voted the Impact signing having been outstanding in the midfield where he has scored over 11 tries for the side in eight appearances.

Valerian Tendwa beat Felix Makokha to be the National 7s Circuit player of the year and youngster Eugene Sifuna was named the outstanding player of the year have emerged as a surprise player, breaking to the first team and has scored five times in four starts.
The players were awarded cash prizes and gift hampers in the luncheon. The fans and players also linked up for Corporate Social Responsibility activities where they visited to help the flood victims in Kisumu County.
