Kenyan Rugby Clubs will know their Enterprise Cup opponents on Tuesday 17 December after the 2020 draw is done at RFUEA Grounds starting 2 PM.
Just like the last season’s competition, this season’s edition will be intertwined in between the Kenya Cup season.
“The 2020 Enterprise Cup draw will be done on Tuesday 17th December at 2:00 pm. Clubs are requested to send a representative to the RFUEA Grounds for the said purpose,” reads a statement by KRU.
Last season’s edition saw 16 teams eight from Kenya Cup and eight from the championship drawn in the competition. A number of teams, however, pulled on citing financial constraints as they had not budgeted for the competition.
Kabras are the defending Champions having beaten Impala 37-7 in the finals staged at RFUEA Grounds. This saw them take the crown from Homeboyz who won the 2018 edition beating Impala 21-3 at the same venue.
The tournament first played in 1930 is the country’s oldest rugby tournament.
Nondescripts are the most successful club in this competition as they boast of an unprecedented 25 titles.
