Kabras blank Homeboyz to reach Mwamba Cup finals

Kabras II will play in the Mwamba Cup finals after beating Homeboyz II 22-0 in the semi-finals staged at Kakamega Showground.

The  Deejays managed to keep their hosts at bay in the better part of the opening half and it was Kenya Under 20 halfback Barry Robinson who gave the Sugarmen a 3-0 lead.

Ugandan Import Eliphaz Emong then picked the ball from the scrum and dotted Kabras first try for an 8-0 lead but Fabian Oland couldn’t add the extras.

In the final half, Winger Jacob Okumba scored Kabras second try and Robinson added a conversion for a 15-0 lead. The halfback got his name on the try scorers list and converted his own try for a 22-0 win.

Kabras who eliminated Administration Police and KCB II will face the winner of the clash between Nakuru II and defending champions Strathmore Loes.
