Upper Hill win KSSSA National 7s title

Upper Hill School have been crowned Kenya Secondary School National 7s title after a 10-5 win over Laiser hill in the finals staged at Shimo La Tewa High at the Coast.

Laiser Hill who were the defending champions were the first on the scoresheet with an unconverted try by Branson Madigu. Brian Kimani pulled back for Upper hill but his try was not converted.

Calvin Kaindi added the second try for the Nairobi base side for a 10-7 lead but the side missed the chance to add the extras once again. In the final half, Upper Hill held on to win.

The two will proceed to the  East African Games set for Tanzania and they will be joined by St Peters who finished third.  Saints beat Vihiga 19-5 in the third playoffs which was a repeat of the Western Region Finals.
