KCB ring changes ahead of Enterprise Cup match against Nakuru


KCB head coach Curtis Olago has made eight changes to his squad ahead of the Enterprise Cup quarterfinal date against Nakuru RFC set for KCB Sports Club on Saturday.

Oscar Simiyu, Curtis Lilako, Oliver Mangeni, Brian Nyikuli, Marlin Mukolwe, Ken Moseti, Peter Kilonzo, and Tony Onyango who started against Homeboyz in the last game of the regular season have paved way for Moses Amusala, George Gichure, Ian Indimuli, Elly Mukaisi, Marlin Mukolwe, Shaban Ahmed, Peter Kilonzo, and Adrian Opondo.

Opondo joins Elphas Adunga and Isaac Njoroge who have kept their slots in the back three. Brian Omondi has shifted to the outside centre position leaving the inside centre role to Stafford Abeka.

At halfback the coach has opted for a partnership between Michael Wanjala and Shaban Ahmed. Rocky Aguko takes up the eighthman role as Peter Waitere moves to the blind flank. Elly Mukaisi will be at the open side.

Francis Mwita is joined by Indimuli in the second row while the front row will have Amusala and Gichure paired with Peter Karia.

Stephen Osumba, Nesta Okotch and Griffin are joined on the bench by the likes off Lilako, Mang’eni, Nyikuli and Collins Wanjala.

KCB are chasing the sixth Enterprise Cup. Last season they were eliminated at the semis by Homeboyz.
