Defending Champions Laiser Hill will take on Upper Hill in the finals of the Kenya Secondary School National 7s games after a 22-5 win over Vihiga High School.
The Kajiado based side started off strongly and denied Vihiga the ball. They would open the scores after Nicholas Kato raced and got hold of an early kick, he crossed over to hand his side a converted try.
Laiser extended the lead after David Mwangi went over for the second try. Their conversion attempt missed he target.
The youngster added his second try of the first half, but once again they failed to add the extras.
As Vihiga struggled with forward play, Laiser continued to piled pressure. Billgates Omondi had a quick tap after a penalty and he made a beautiful run for a 22-0 lead.
Vihiga got a consolation try after nice run Kevin Ligare who scored while Philip Mukhutse added the extras.
The second semi saw Upper hill edge St Peters 12-10.
Upper Hill were the first on the scoresheet after Nicholas Kato bagged a converted try. It was his last action as he was stretched after an injury. William Muhanji would fend off his opponents and cut the deficit to two points for St Peter after they missed conversion.
Mwangi was later sent to the sin-bin after a high tackle and St Peters capitalized on the numerical advantage to score unconverted try.
Mubarak Wandera ensured Upperhill reached the finals after scoring a try later in the game.
