After having spent six years with Western Bulls, Polycarp Omari will have a different home in the 2018/19 season as he has completed a move to Kenya Cup side Strathmore Leos.
The former Western Bulls frontrower led his former side to their first Mwamba Cup final in 2014 against KCB II where they lost 28-8 and a fine Kenya Cup debut where they beat Nondies 19-17.
The forward commonly known as Bleacha described his move to Strathmore as as a great one but admits that its painful to leave Western Bulls.
His move away from the Kakamega based club is due to work and school commitments.
“Its a painful heartbreak leaving Echulusi as I was among the pioneer players of the club ,however, I had to since am currently based in Nairobi and my work and school schedule cannot allow me to travel to Western Kenya every weekend.” He told Scrummage.
He hailed the move and he is looking forward for a good stay at the Leos, “Am happy at Leos and look forward to offer my best to the team.”
He will be hoping to help Strathmore Leos to success.
