Ngong Warriors speak on winger’s death

KRU Championship side Ngong Warriors have released a statement following the passing on of winger Brian Adira.

Adira, who also had a stint at Kakamega’s  Western Bulls passed on on Sunday 16 September with the club,in their statement confirming that his demise was as a result of a short illness.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the untimely death of one of our warriors Brian Adira “Dulai” who died on Sunday 16th September 2018 after being rushed to hospital following a short illness. Brian was an outstanding winger who played position 14 for Ngong Warriors for three successive seasons, two at the Nationwide league and one in the Championship. He was feted as the club’s top try scorer in 2017.

Adira played his last competitive match for the Club during this year’s Prinsloo Sevens.

The family and Ngong Warriors Rugby Club fraternity are still coming to terms with his untimely death.
Burial arrangements are underway involving the immediate family and friends and Ngong Rugby Club.
