Frenchman picked for Kenya Simbas Gold Cup opener


French referee Sebastien Minery will be the centre referee when Kenya Simbas face Morocco in an Africa Gold Cup clash on Saturday 23 June. 
The 36-year old Minery who oftenly officiates in the French Top 14 oversaw his first elite game in 2009 after he was called upon as a replacement for  Bruno Besso who sustained an injury during a match pitting Perpignan against Bayonne.
The match set to be played at COC Rugby in Casablanca will start at 7:00pm with live broadcast available on Kwese Channel as well as Kwese Sports Facebook page.
From Casablanca, Kenya hosts Zimbabwe, Uganda and Tunisia in that order before travelling to Windhoek on 18 August to tackle Namibia in the final match.
