Wokorach missing as Uganda 7s begins South Africa camp

The Uganda 7s team departed for Stellenbosch, South Africa on Sunday 3 June for a one week camp as part of their preparations for the 2018 Rugby 7s World Cup slated for 20-22 July in San Fransisco, USA.
The side is without its top marksman Philip Wokorach who is with the Samurai 7s Franchise side that is participating at the Algarve 7s.
“We finished a block of training dealing with building strength, speed and endurance. Next phase is the rugby bit where we want to work on structures and correct areas in which we were lacking,” Uganda 7s coach Tolbert Onyango told Daily Monitor newspaper.
Uganda 7s will face Samoa in a pre-round of 16 clash at the AT&T arena on Friday 20 July and a win could see them book a date with England.
