London 7s: Kenya through to Challenge trophy semi finals


Kenya 7s has booked a Challenge troohy semi final spot at the ongoing London 7s after beating Spain 38-0  in a quarter final tie staged at the Twickenham stadium this Sunday 3 June. 
With the quarter final win, Innocent Simiyu’s charges have set up a challenge trophy semi final clash against Argentina at 3:20pm.
Kenya dropped to the Challenge trophy after managing only a single win on day one, finishing third in pool C.
Against the Spaniards, Shujaa got themselves onto the score sheet courtesy of tries by Collins Injera,Willy Ambaka and Andrew Amonde as Eden Agero booted two conversions to send them 19-0 up at the break.
Billy Odhiambo would strike a double, bagging a try either side of Injera’s five pointer to hand Shujaa a comfortable 38-0 win.
