Uganda captain Mugerwa relishing Kenya Simbas challenge

Uganda Cranes captain Asuman Mugerwa acknowledged that they have always enjoyed their meetings with the Kenya Simbas.
The two oldest foes on the continent are set to renew their rivalry in the Elgon Cup first leg in Kampala this Saturday and the Kabras Sugar front-row was quoted by the Daily Monitor Newspaper as saying that they are all pumped up for Saturday’s duel.
“The boys are ready, everyone is pumped up and it’s a culture here that every player loves to play against Kenya ,” Mugerwa  said.

Seven players in Ian Munyayi, Adrian Kasito, Simon Olet, Paul Ssekate, Nathan Bwambale, Edgar Pajob and Elphaz Emong could make their international debuts after being included in the match day squad released by John Duncan and his assistant Robert Seguya.
Kenya are the Elgon Cup holders having won 23-18 in Kampala in 2017 before a 33-all draw in Nairobi saw them claim the honours with a 56-51 aggregate score.
