Homeboyz keen on reclaiming National Sevens title

Homeboyz Rugby coach Paul Murunga exuded confidence that the side will reclaim the overall national 7s circuit title when the tournament gets underway in July.
The Deejays were dethroned by Kabras Sugar during the 2017 sevens circuit as they claimed a second place finish after only two cup triumphs at Driftwood and Dala 7s.
“We now shift the focus on the sevens circuit. Last season we lost the title and finished second. This season we want to go back and reclaim the title,”Murunga said in an earlier interview.
The side broke it’s 15s hodoo by winning the 2018 Enterprise Cup; their first ever silverware in the linger version and they will be out to replicate the same form in Sevens.
This year’s circuit gets underway with the Prinsloo 7s in Nakuru on 21st July before coming to a conclusion with the Christie 7s on 15-16 September.
