Kisii RFC coach Nick Abok admitted that Kabras Sugar were physically superior after going down 47-15 to the millers in a Kenya Cup round nine tie on Saturday.

The Kenya Cup newbies were out to inflict defeat on yet another big side having claimed the scalp of Mwamba on match day eight but that was not to be as the likes of Geoffrey Shitambasi,George Nyambua and Philip Wokorach all bagged tries to steer the Kakamega based side to a win.

“We conceded early and tried to find a response by making forays into their 22 but unfortunately we played into their trap of playing physical rugby and we could not match them,”Abok told Scrummage.

Abok’s charges host Strathmore Leos on Saturday 17 February in a rescheduled week three fixture at the Gusii stadium starting 1600hrs.
