Kenya 7s coach Innocent Simiyu exuded confidence that the side can post better result at the Hamilton 7s slated for this weekend in New Zealand.

Shujaa amassed 10 points at last weekend’s Sydney 7s after losing to South Africa in the cup quarters before going down to Fiji in the 5th place semis.

In Hamilton,Simiyu’s charges are banded in pool D alongside USA,Samoa and Canada.

“We have a tough pool but believe we have done our homework well and trust the players will play with pride and impress us all.”

“Our key focus is to meet our performance targets especially in attack. Hopefully we will get the results we all want,”Simiyu told Kenya Rugby.

Simiyu also extended his thanks to the team’s fans saying, “We wish to thank all our supporters here and back at home for believing in the team.”
