Kenya Cup giants Kabras Sugar commenced training on Thursday,28 December 2017 ahead of the resumption of the Kenya Cup season.

Under the tutelage of former Kenya Harlequins boss Charles Cardovillis,the Kakamega side has had an unbeaten start to the new season,winning all its four matches.They currently occupy third spot on the Kenya Cup standings having collected 19 points.

Their last match of 2017 saw the side record the biggest win of the season so far,thumping Mombasa RFC 77-3 in a match staged at the Mombasa Sports Club on Saturday,16 December.

Head coach Charles Cardovillis will be hoping that Ugandan import Philip Wokorach will recover on time to feauture during their first assignment of 2018 on 13 January.

The Ugandan talisman sustained an ankle injury while on national team duty with Uganda at the Dubai 7s,early this month.

After the festive break,Kabras will host Kenya Harlequins at the Kakamega Showground on January 13,2018 starting 1600hrs.
