Kenya 7s has dropped from position seven to 11th on the World 7s standing after failing to sparkle in the just concluded Cape Town 7s.

Shujaa lost to France and South Africa on day one of the tournament while day two saw Innocent Simiyu’s side fall to Samoa in Challenge Quarters. The side would only manage three points from the tournament after beating Scotland and Uganda to finish at the 13th position.

New Zealand’s triumph in South Africa has sent them top of the standing with 41 points. Series defending champions South Africa have dropped to the second spot after finishing third in their home tournament.

Fiji sits third with 28 points while England and Argentina complete the top five list. Kenya 7s neighbors Uganda have amassed four points.
