Nondies RFC coach Willis Foxx Ojal said that his charges displayed much improvement despite going down 29-22 to Homeboyz last Saturday.

In Saturday’s clash, new signings Moses Begi and Fidel Oloo were all on target for the Red Lion in their second Kenya Cup appearance in the white shirt.

“It was all about getting combinations right.Against Blak Blad we played a lot of individualistic rugby and we¬† saw against Homeboyz it was much of team play.Despite the loss we’ll take positives and use the negatives as a lesson,”Ojal told Scrummage.

Nondies currently sit at 9th position on the 12-team log having failed to pick any point from the first two matches.

Their next assignment is a home tie against fellow strugglers Mombasa RFC at the Jamhuri Park on Saturday,8 December starting 1400hrs.
