Blak Blad has made it two wins in two after beating Mombasa RFC 22-10 in a Kenya Cup tie staged at the Mombasa Sports Club on Sunday,3 December. 

The Kenyatta University side managed 4 tries and a conversion as Mombasa went over the chalk once as well as landing a solitary penalty.

Blak Blad got onto the scoresheet first through a five pointer by before Mombasa reduced the deficit from a penalty.

Archadius Kwesa and Levy Amunga would land a try each,the former’s being converted successfully to ensure the students took a 17-3 advantage to the break.

Blak Blad extended their advantage with a converted try in the second half before the hosts responded with a converted try but Blad held on to claim a 22-10 win.

Matchday 3 will see Michael Tank Otieno’s side face a tough test away to KCB as Mombasa face Nondies.
