Kabras RFC registered the second Kenya Cup victory by beating visiting Strathmore Leos 44-13 at Kakamega Showground.
Strathmore Leos took lead through Gabriel Adero and his try was converted by Gideon Makumi.
The homeside Kabras then stroke back with Ugandan International Asuma Mugerwa touching down unconverted try and cut the gap to five points.
Before the halftime Kevin Keegan got his first try in Kabras shirt and Andrew Gathua converted for a 12-10 lead.
The second half saw Kabras come stronger and Gathua got his name on the scoresheet with a try before Makumi’s penalty cut the scoreline to 17-13.
Fabian Olando joined the scoresheet with a try but their conversion went wide. Steve Ochieng and Max Adaka added two tries for Kabras.
Subsistute Kelvin Omiyo grabbed his brace and Gathua converted one try for a 44-13.
The win means Kabras are yet to lose to Strathmore in a Kenya Cup tie staged at Kakamega Showground
