Kenya 7s has dropped to 5th place semis after going down 14-12 to New Zealand in the cup quarter final at the ongoing Dubai 7s.

The All Blacks opened the scoring as Dylan Collier went over for a converted try before Eden Agero responded for Kenya 7s,touching down between the sticks to level matters.

From the kickoff,Sammy Oliech handed Shujaa the lead for the first time in the match but he failed to add the extras as Innocent Simiyu’s charges took a 12-7 lead to halftime.

After sustained pressure,New Zeland landed a try with a minute to play to sealĀ  semi final qualification as Kenya dropped to the 5th place semi finals.
