Impala Saracens’ second string side has claimed a 17-5 win over Mean Machine II in an early kickoff friendly clash at the Impala Club this Saturday,25 November.

The Boks drew first Blood as centre David Moenga went over the chalk for the first try before Benard Rotich coolly slotted home the  ensuing conversion from an acute angle to grab a 7-0 advantage.

Just before the interval,both Impala and Machine II would be reduced to 14-men after Angugo and Kanyi were sent to the bin as the junior Sarries took the narrow lead to halftime.

Patrick Mutuku extended Impala’s lead to 12 points but Rotich failed in his attempt to add the extras.The university side reduced the deficitMutuku,,Antony Angili capitalizing on a poor attempted pass by Lionel Lewa to touch down but Festus Shiasi sent his conversion wide.

Richard Asante scored the third try for Impala Boks after racing to the tryline,Emmanuel Okeya failing to convert as junior Sarries led 17-5.

Just moments after putting his name onto the scoresheet,Asante would be sent to the bin as the Boks were reduced yet again for the second time in the clash as the Ngong Road side held on to claim a 17-5 win.
