Uganda has named its squad set to do duty at the Cape Town and Dubai 7s scheduled for December 1-2 and 8-9 respectively.

Kenyan based quartet of James Odong,Phillip Wokorach,Solom Okia,Joseph Aredo and Aaron Ofoyrwoth have all made the cut with Kabras dangerman Wokorach serving as the assistant captain.

Making a return to the squad after close to a 7-year absence is 33-year old veteran Timothy Mudoola whose last appearance for Uganda 7s was during the 2010 Commonwealth games in India.

“We needed a forward who can also play as a center.He is a leader who can advise the younger players on different issues and he also comes with lots of experience,”coach Tolbert Onyango is quoted by Daily Monitor.

At the Dubai 7s,Uganda is in a tricky pool A that also has neighbours Kenya,South Africa as well as Canada.
