Former Kenya Cup side Western Bulls will miss the services of Scrumhalf Allan Kasiti in their Championship opener against Kisumu RFC this Saturday at the Mamboleo Showground,Scrummage understands.

The lanky halfback sustained a neck injury during training and he may be sidelined for upto two weeks which means that he could also miss the team’s second clash at home to the University of Eldoret (UOE) on 2 December.

Kasiti’s injury concerns provide a huge blow to the Kakamega-based side as he was instrumental in the 2017 National sevens circuit,aiding his side to an 11th place finish after accumulating 39 points.

After facing Kisumu and UOE,Howard Okwemba’s charges will travel to Egerton University then host Moi Arsonists before the league takes a christmas break.
