Strathmore Leos boss John Mbai credits their loss to Sportpesa Quins in the plate final at the Impala Floodlit to lapses in concentration.
The University side threw away a 2 point advantage to eventually lose the tie and coach Mbai was contented with his charges display despite the loss.
“It was a much refined show in comparison to how we played against Machine in the quarters. We really did well in the first half but unfortunately lapses in concentration in the second half let us down,”Mbai told Scrummage.
“We also had issues with our Scrummaging and that is something we shall work on but we are contented having managed three well worked tries against Quins. We are still a work in progress and Iam happy that the boys are now executing what we are working on in training,”he added.
The students next assignment will be the Kenya Cup opener on Saturday,25 November. They host defending champions KCB in Madaraka.
