Impala Saracens head coach Frank Ndong’ acknowledges that indiscipline was one of the catalysts as they were dethroned as Floodlit champions after going down 18-17 to KCB.

In Saturday’s final, the Sarries had to play the latter stages of the second half with 14 men after Quinto Ongo was shown his marching orders in the 57th minute.

“We really did poorly when it came to our discipline;the yellow cards and red cards were our undoing and playing against a team like KCB when you are less is quite difficult,”Ndong’ told Scrummage.

The Ngong Road-based side will now set  sights on the upcoming 2017/18 Kenya Cup season. They open their campaign with a home tie against newbies Mombasa RFC.
