Kenya Simbas head coach Jerome Paarwater believes that the side is on the right track and maintaining the current squad will see them get better.

The Simbas failed to register a win at the concluded cup of Nations as they lost to Hong Kong in their final clash, a match in which Paarwater noted a great improvement.

“Tough luck again because the score was not on our side but we made a great improvement. With more time together we shall do much better,”Paarwater told Kenya Rugby.

“It has been a good tour, high intensity matches because of the quality of the sides we faced. Our focus still remains to qualify for the World Cup and the union should keep these players together,”he noted.

The side will now shift focus to the 2019 Rugby World Cup qualifiers set to be played next year.
