KCB RFC head coach Curtis Olago says that his charges resilience was key as they narrowly edged Homeboyz to reach the Impala Floodlit final for the second consecutive year.

The bankers left it late to score a last gasp drop-goal courtesy of Ken Moseti and Olago is full of praise for his charges perfomance.

“The boys were very resilient. We are working on a new style of play and we are at around 40 percent right now and that is what i had more interest in than just the result of the match. Our new signings who were making their debut for the club played so well,”said Olago.

The bankers win over Homeboyz meant that they set up a repeat of last year’s final in which they lost to Impala Saracens.
