Homeboyz RFC new signing Mohammed Omollo was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP)  in his side’s 18-16 loss to KCB at the Impala Floodlit tournament.

Despite the Deejays failing to make it to the final, the former Impala Saracens halfback was instrumental, contributing 11 points by his boot while the other five came off Steve Otieno’s sole try.

In the earlier match pitting hosts Impala against Mean Machine,Quinto Ongo was feted as the MVP in the match while Tony Mutai of Sportpesa Quins achieved a similar fete after his stellar display enabled the Ngong Road based side whip Kisii RFC to reach the plate final.

Menengai Oilers skipper Clinton Odhiambo was the stand out man as Gibson Weru’s charges saw off TUK in the semi finals of the varsities category.
