Hosts Impala Saracens booked a spot at this year’s Floodlit final after securing a 20-10 win over Mean Machine at Impala grounds this Saturday,11 November.

Both sides struggled to find the breakthrough in a cagey opening quarter and after endless pressure,Impala Drew first blood as Quinto Ongo went over the whitewash for a converted try.

Machine replied moments to the break courtesy of a penalty by full-back Erick Muthama.

Quinto would then extend the Sarries lead with a well taken penalty from close range, just moments after he had squandered another three pointer.

Mean Machine tied the scores soon afterwards, hooker Gravis Onyino going over the whitewash before Erick Muthama added the extras.

The sarries were then awarded a penalty try before Mark Kwemoi’s well taken drop-goal sealed the win.

Impala will tackle either KCB or Homeboyz in next weekend’s final.
