Kennedy Moseti struck a drop-goal in the dying minutes to secure KCB a place in the final of the Impala Floodlit after seeing off Homeboyz 18-16 on Saturday,11 November at Impala grounds. 

Homeboyz drew  first blood courtesy of a well taken penalty by Mohammed Omollo but KCB responded as Elphas Otieno dived over at the left corner before sending his own conversion wide.

The bankers extended their lead to 12-3 this time Brian Nyikuli doing the job as he barged over for a converted try between the posts.

Homeboyz found a perfect response through Kenya Simbas international Steve Otieno’s try which was converted from a tight angle to reduce the deficit to two points.

Omollo handed the Deejays the lead for the first time in the clash, drilling in a penalty from close range.

The sides would then exchange penalties in quick succession as Elphas Otieno and Mohammed Omollo were both successful with their boots as scores read 16-15 in favour of Homeboyz.

Kennedy Moseti would then seal the win for the bankers booting in a drop-goal to seal a 18-16 win.
