Sam Muregi scored a brace on his Kenya 7s debut as the side mauled Zambia 31-0 at the ongoing Safland 7s 0n Friday ,10 November.

Kenya ran in 5 tries and 4 conversions as the South African side failed to register any points in the clash.

Willy Ambaka opened the scoring after a well worked move touching down at the left handside corner but the conversion attempt was unsuccessful.

Brian Tanga added the second soon afterwards as he received a fantastic offload fronm Jeff Oluoch,sidestepped his opponent before racing his way to the tryline for a converted try.

Menegai Oilers prodigy Sam Muregi soon added the fourth try for Kenya after diving over for his maiden try in national team colours.

Muregi soon turned provider,offloading to Eden Agero who went over the whitewash between the posts to extend Kenya’s lead to 26-0.

He would then complete his brace at the final play of the match after being put through by Menengai Oilers teammate Eric Ombasa

Shujaa meets Bulls at 1100hrs on the Saturday before facing South Africa select at 1400hrs.
