Kabras Sugar lock George Nyambua has been handed a start at blindside in the Kenya Simbas squad set to clash with Chile in the Hong Kong Nations cup opener on Friday,10 November.

Tony Onyango starts at fullback while Nato Simiyu who is making a return to the side after over a year’s absence has been tasked with playing at position 10.

Wilson Kopondo skippers the side which also has Darwin Mukidza,Davies Chenge and Jacob Ojee.

David Ambunya of Sportpesa Quins and Leo Seje will partner in midfield as Joshua Chisanga starts at position 8.

Phillip Ikambili,Oscar Simiyu,Dennis Karani and Peter Kilonzo are set to start from the bench but there is no place in the matchday squad for Strathmore Leos pair of Elkeans Musonye and Alex Olaba as well as Martin Owila.

The Kenya Simbas clash against Chile will kick off at 12:00pm paving way for the second clash of the tournament pitting hosts Hong Kong against defending champions Russia which starts at 2:00pm.
