Western Bulls club patron Pape Sembi says that the side will be seeking a return back to the Kenya Cup when the championship season gets underway.
Echulusi’s lucklustre display in the 2016/17 Kenya Cup season saw them relegated to the championship for the first time since their maiden appearance 5 years ago and Sembi says they are working towards regaining their top flight status.
“The boys did immensely well over the 7s series, representing Kakamega and themselves with great pride.”Sembi is quoted by the club’s portal.
“They now want to carry that on in the 15s and bounce back to the Kenya Cup ; and their body language shows they are hungry for this.”he adds.
Bulls begin life in the championship with a clash away to Kisumu RFC on Saturday 25 November.
