Former Kenya Cup Champions Kabras RFC have acquired the services of Uganda Cranes forward Asuman Mugerwa, Scrummage understands.

The former Hearthens prop will join his fellow countrymen Philip Wokorach and Ivan Kirabo at the Kakamega-based side ahead of the 2017/18 season.

Sources from Kakamega revealed to the Scrummage that the forward linked up with the club this week and he is expected to join the rest of the squad in training soon.

Ugandan Athlete Management organization, Afro Sports Management also took on twitter to congratulate the forward following his move to the Kenya Cup side.

Kabras head coach Charles Cardovillis is seeking to strengthen his front row, backrow and the halfback positions ahead of the new season and Brian Mayaka, Andrew Chogo are the latest acquisitions for the Sugarmen.
