Kisii RFC Chairman Walter Orangi believes that Impala Floodlit tournament offers them a chance to have a feel of top flight rugby before the Kenya Cup season kicks off.

The newly promoted side will debut at the Floodlit Tournament on Saturday, 4th November 2017 and will face off with Kenya Cup champions KCB RFC.

Testing testing

According to Orangi, the side will use the tournament to test different structures as well areas of weakness which they plan to strengthen before the transfer window shuts.
“We want to use the Floodies 2017 platform to test our structures of play just before entering Kenya Cup. It is here that we’ll better understand the choices to make before the transfer window closes. This being our first time participating, we simply want to explore the atmosphere that makes up top-flight rugby. In a few years, we will definitely start targeting the Floodies silverware.” Kisii RFC Chairman told Impala official portal.

Orangi acknowledged that it wont be an easy fight against KCB but promised it wont be a walk in the park for them.
