Kabras RFC coach Charles Cardovillis has disclosed areas that he intends to acquire new signings before the transfer window elapses.
Kabras had a good 2016/17 season, reaching the finals of both the Kenya Cup and Enterprise cup in which they lost to KCB and Cardovillis says that he has identified areas to strengthen.
“We need to strengthen our backrow and frontrow especially the number 10 position.I think the rest of the squad is quite okay,”Cardovillis told Scrummage.
“We have already identified players for those positions and we are in discussion with their respective clubs,”he added.
“Kabras reached the final of last season’s Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup so we shall be seeking to go one better this time round and probably bring some 15s trophies home “he concluded.
The Sugarmillers have completed the swoop for Homeboyz duo of prop Bramwel Mayaka and Andrew Chogo.
After winning his first silverware with the club in the concluded national 7s circuit,Cardovillis will be out to continue with the fine run when the Kenya Cup season gets underway on 25 November.
