Homeboyz RFC team manager Simon Odongo says that his side are looking forward to their clash against Sportpesa Quins at this year’s Impala floodlit tournament.
Homeboyz are set to collide with Quins in the last quarter final clash on Saturday 4 October in a late kickoff match and Odongo is full of optimism.
“We can never be petrified. We are indeed very happy that our first match of the 2017-18 Kenya Cup is against SportPesa Quins. We are glad that Floodies 2017 provides an opportunity for us to know them well before the Kenya Cup league opener on the 25th.”he is quoted by Impala Saracens.
“At Homeboyz, we have a culture of desiring to do better than our last performance. We always got beaten in the past but in 2016, we managed to win the Plate in a final played against Strathmore. Our players are up to the task.”he adds.
Our pre-season preparations have been going on well. We’ll definitely want to start the XV season with the best result at Floodies 2017.”Odongo concludes.
Should the Deejays beat Quins in the Floodies quarter finals, then the winner between KCB and Kisii RFC awaits them in the semis.
