The Wallabies staged a second half comeback to beat Barbarians 31-28 on Saturday 28 October at the Allianz stadium. 

Australia found themselves trailing 21-12 at half time after the Barbarians ran in three converted tries.

The second string Australian side ran in 5 tries courtesy of a Duncan Paia’uaua double,Henry Speight and Jack Dempsey before former Test skipper Stephen Moore scored the match-winning try in the 73rd minute to save Michael Cheika’s blushes in the coaching battle against Barbarians boss Alan Jones.

Moore’s try came against a 13-man BaaBaas side that had lost star backs Taqele Naiyaravoro and Quade Cooper to the sin-bin for late indiscretions.
