Western Bulls head coach Howard Okwemba has heaped praise on the team’s captain Chrispine Shitundo.
Shitundo’s stellar display for Echulusi in the concluded national 7s circuit saw him named Bulls’ Most Valuable Player for the circuit and Okwemba says that his contribution for the side was immense.
“Chrispine is a leader and his presence on the field was immense. He was good both in defense and attack; communicated and blended easily with all of the players.”Okwemba was quoted by the club’s portal.
“He is the only player who was never substituted in the entire Sevens Circuit games. He was always working hard and pushing the rest of the boys with him,”he concluded.
The Kakamega based side will now shift focus to the upcoming 15s season.
