KCB RFC half back Shaban Ahmed says that the hunger to succeed has played a pivotal role in his recent fine form.
Shaban put up a stellar display in the just concluded national 7s circuit scooping the Most Valuable Player award at three legs and he says that the hunger to leave a mark has pushed him to do better.
“The secret for me is that iam always hungry as a player and always aiming to put up my best perfomance,”Shaban says.
“I felt humble after winning the awards. It has been a long sevens season and as KCB we are always pushing for the very best,”he added.
The former Mwamba RFC player has received a late call up to the Kenya 7s team which is preparing for the busy 2017/2018 season.
