Kabras RFC head coach Charles Cardovillis attributes their maiden National 7s circuit triumph to the team’s strength and conditioning tactician.
Kabras managed to win the main cup at Sepetuka 7s and Christie 7s,reached the cup quarters on two occassions and finished third on one occassion, collecting 102 points in the process and Cardovillis says all these was because of good preparation.
“Our preparations has been fantastic. Our Strength and Conditioning coach Richie has been very instrumental because the players have been well conditioned that is why we have had minimal injury concerns,”Cardovillis told Scrummage.
Work in progress
Despite the fact that he has been able to deliver silverware only few months in the job,Cardovillis admits that the side is still a work in progress.
“For me its still work in progress.I just act as a leader and its the boys who do everything. They have been able to play according to instructions and it has really helped us,”he concluded.
