Kabras RFC star player Phillip Wokorach says that teamwork was crucial in ensuring they retained the Christie 7s crown.
Wokorach who was returning for the Sugarmillers after leading his national 7s side to continental glory was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) and he says that their ability to work as a team from the start of the tournament led them to cup glory.
“I did not really help Kabras alone.We played as a team starting from the word go and it really helped us alot,”Wokorach said.
“I thank God for giving us victory.We really worked hard and iam happy for this.It really feels good,”he added.
Kabras currently occupy 1st position on the national 7s standings having amassed 85 points ahead of the final leg,the Dala 7s slated for 21/22 October,2017 in Kisumu.
