SportPesa Quins sevens coach Joash Odhalo is satisfied with his side’s performance at the concluded Christie 7s.

Quins managed to reach the cup semis for the first time this season only to be eliminated by Ngong Road rivals Impala Saracens and Odhalo says that his charges were hungry to make it to the semis having crashed out at cup quarters at 4 consecutive tournaments.

“Correcting on little mistakes from previous tournaments has helped us.The boys were hungry coming into this tournament,”Odhalo said.

Improvement

“It is an improvement from where we have been in the past 4 tournaments; making it to the semis for the first time was very good for us but unfortunately we could not settle for 3rd spot, ” he concluded.

The side currently occupies 7th position on the national circuit standings, 10 behind 6th-placed KCB RFC.
