Mwamba RFC has named Kenya XV international back row Edwin “Pablo” Machanje as their new skipper for the 2017/2018 season.

The Club’s Rugby Director Edwin Waita has named Brad Owako and Michael Agevi as Machanje’s assistants while George Mutuku, Eugene Sudi, Matt Wanjia and Paul Wahome will join them to make Leadership Group.

The club also revealed that the preparations for the upcoming Impala Floodlit tournament and Kenya Cup are underway.

Their sevens team will  be seeking redemption as the take part in the second last leg of the 7s Circuit. They are in a tricky pool that has Homeboyz, Nondies and Western Bulls.

The side will be keen to well in the final  two legs of Circuit and rise on the National 7s Standings.
