Western Bulls is confident of putting up a good showing at the penultimate leg of the national 7s circuit slated for October 14/15 in Nairobi.

The Kakamega based side managed to reach the cup quarters for the first time this season at the Sepetuka 7s and coach Howard Okwemba believes that if his charges can rise to the occassion, then they may replicate the same form at Christie.

“Christie is a different ballgame alltogether, the bar has been set higher from previous tournaments but we are sticking to our systems”

“If the boys rise up to the occassion like they have done before,we have a game but for now we keep training,”Okwemba told Western Bulls portal.

The team’s captain Teddy Akala echoes his coaches sentiments as he aims at leading them to yet another cup quarter final berth.

“We are training hard as a team and hoping for the best as we head to Christie 7s,”said Akala.

Echulusi is in pool C at the Christie 7s alongside Mwamba,Homeboyz and Nondies.
