Kabras RFC dangerman Phillip Wokorach was among the try scorers as hosts Uganda cruised to their second win at the ongoing Africa 7s with a 35-0 drubbing of Zambia on Friday 6 October,2017 in Kampala.
James Ijiongat gave the hosts the lead after he had been set up by Wokorach with Lawrence Ssebuliba adding a second after Michael Wokorach had done the spade work sidestepping 3 men before offloading to him,the Ugandans taking a 14-0 lead to the break.
After being the provider in the first period,Phillip Wokorach finally landed his try as Pius Ogena and Eric Kasiita completed the rout.
Uganda had ealier on in the day handed Ghana a 36-0 thrashing courtesy of touchdowns by Phillip Wokorach,Lawrence Ssebuliba,Joseph Aredo,Bryan Oketayot,Adrian Kasito and Michael Wokorach.
This year’s Africa cup 7s is serving as a qualifier to the 2018 rugby 7s world cup slated for San Fransisco,USA.
